Michael serves as the President of Michael Smith Architects and has over 12 years of experience in the design, production, and management of various types of projects ranging from custom single family residential to commercial to educational. Prior to starting MSA, Michael served as Project Architect, Director of Design, and Vice President for Richard Henry Behr Architects where he designed and coordinated various types of projects including Multi Family Residential projects, University Master Planning projects, Adaptive Re-Use projects, and Retail projects. In addition to this wide range of experience, Michael specializes in cutting edge computer modeling and architectural visualization techniques which he uses to effectively communicate architectural design ideas to clients. Michael is personally involved with all daily aspects of each project from client contact to overseeing design and production.
